Bonuses tab

Any bonus received from a broker is displayed in the Trade app (cTrader Mobile) or the Bonuses tab in Trade Watch (cTrader Windows, Mac and Web).

Note

The Bonuses tab is visible only when your trading account holds a bonus.

The Bonuses tab contains the following columns:

  • ID – transaction identifier.
  • Date or Time – date and time when the transaction occurred.
  • Type – transaction type (deposit or withdrawal).
  • Amount – funds deposited or withdrawn.
  • Note – text added by the broker.

The Bonuses tab contains the following indications of balance:

  • Total bonus – sum of all bonuses received by a trader.

  • Active bonus or Available for trading – amount from the total bonus that can be used for trading. This amount can never exceed the sum of the account balance and unrealised net P&L.

  • Ratio or Conversion ratio – trade volume or quantity required to convert a USD 1 bonus into the equivalent balance.

    Example

    • USD 1 for USD 100k traded – USD 100,000 must be traded before a USD 1 bonus is converted into a USD 1 balance.
    • USD 1 for 2 lot(s) traded – 2 lots must be traded before a USD 1 bonus is converted into a USD 1 balance.
  • Converted or Converted bonus – amount from the total bonus that has been converted into balance.

Note

After a trader meets the criteria for converting their bonus into balance, the eligible bonus is converted at 00:00 UTC the next day and added to their balance.
