This guide covers prompts for using trading charts, managing chart objects and drawings and applying chart templates through an AI agent.

Open and close charts¶

Open a chart¶

Open a chart for EURUSD on the H1 period.

Open a daily chart for XAUUSD.

Chart objects¶

Chart objects are drawings and annotations you place on a chart, such as trend lines, horizontal lines, rectangles and other shapes.

Add a chart object¶

Draw a horizontal line on the active chart at price 1.1200.

Add a trend line on the active chart from the last swing 
low to the current price.

Add a rectangle on the active chart between 1.1150 and 
1.1250 over the last 20 bars.

Add a Fibonacci retracement on the active chart between the recent 
swing high and swing low.

Draw a risk-reward block on the active chart: entry at 1.1200, 
stop at 1.1150, target at 1.1300.

Add an up arrow marker at 1.1180 on the most recent bar.

List chart objects¶

Show me all objects on the active chart.

Update a chart object¶

Change the colour of the trend line on the active chart to red.

Make the horizontal line at 1.1200 dashed.

Delete a chart object¶

Delete the horizontal line at 1.1200 on the active chart.

Clear all chart objects¶

Remove all objects from the active chart.

Warning

Clearing all chart objects is irreversible. Make sure you no longer need the drawings before confirming.

Chart templates¶

Apply a template¶

Apply the template 'My Trading Setup' to the active chart.

Save a template¶

Save the current chart setup as a template called 'Swing setup'.

Delete a template¶

Delete the chart template called 'Old setup'.

Combining prompts¶

You can combine multiple chart operations in a single prompt.

Open a chart for EURUSD on H1, add RSI and a 200-period SMA, 
then apply my 'Swing Trading' template.

List all open charts, then close any that are on period 
below H1.
