interface cAlgo.API.Indicators

DesktopCLICloud

TRIX was developed by Jack Huton. It is a momentum oscillator that will help you filter unimportant price movement.

Definition

public interface Trix

Namespace: cAlgo.API.Indicators · Group: Indicators · Implements: StandardIndicator

Remarks

When TRIX is rising, it is a good signal to buy, whether when TRIX is falling, it is a good signal to sell.

Examples

Example 1

private Trix _trix;
protected override void Initialize()
{
    _trix = Indicators.Trix(Bars.ClosePrices, 14);
}
public override void Calculate(int index)
{
    double result = _trix.Result[index];
}
import clr
clr.AddReference("cAlgo.API")

from cAlgo.API import *

class Test():
    def initialize(self):
        self.trix = api.Indicators.Trix(api.Bars.ClosePrices, 14)

    def calculate(self, index):
