Add and manage plugins in cTrader
After you create a plugin, install one from cTrader Store or open a plugin .algo file using cTrader, the plugin becomes available for use.
Note
With cloud synchronisation enabled, any created or installed plugin automatically appears in cTrader apps where your cTID is active and the plugin can be used in cTrader Windows and Mac.
The number on the plugin icon in the top-left corner indicates the number of currently enabled plugins.
Clicking the plugin icon opens the plugins section in settings. Here, you can enable/disable plugins and configure their parameters.
Enable a plugin
Use the toggle to enable a plugin, and the plugin will appear in the appropriate UI area based on its code.
For example, the ASP with cTrader Store plugin adds a WebView block showing the cTrader Store website in Active Symbol Panel (ASP).
The Custom Toolbar Button plugin adds two buttons to the chart toolbar, and clicking a button performs an action.
Clicking the plugin icon in the toolbar reveals the buttons.
In addition to ASP and the chart toolbar shown here, plugin placements and commands showcase plugins appearing in Trade Watch, custom windows and custom frames. Videos and step-by-step instructions on creating plugins for all possible UI areas are available in plugin how-tos.
Disable a plugin
Use the toggle in plugin settings to disable a plugin.
When you disable a plugin, that particular plugin will not appear in any UI area until it is enabled again.
