# Transaction.Amount

## Amount

Gets transaction amount.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI supported · Cloud supported.

C#:

```csharp
double Amount {get;}
```

Python:

```python
transaction.Amount: float
```

### Returns

`double` — 

Available since cAlgo.API 5.2.

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var deposited = Transactions.Where(transaction => transaction.Type == TransactionType.Deposit).Sum(transaction => transaction.Amount);
Print("Total deposited: {0}", deposited);
```

Python:

```python
deposited = sum(transaction.Amount for transaction in api.Transactions if transaction.Type == TransactionType.Deposit)
api.Print(f"Total deposited: {deposited}")
```
