# AlgoType (interface)

Base type for representing an algorithm.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI supported · Cloud not supported.

- Cloud: Never available in the cloud: it is only returned by members that do not work there (AlgoRegistry, AlgoRegistry.Get).
