# ChartArea.YValueToY

## YValueToY(double yValue)

Converts Area Y axis coordinate value to mouse Y coordinate.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI not supported · Cloud not supported.

- CLI: Always returns 0; no conversion is done.
- Cloud: Always returns 0; no conversion is done.

C#:

```csharp
double YValueToY(double yValue)
```

Python:

```python
chartArea.YValueToY(yValue: float) -> float
```

### Parameters

- `yValue` (`double`, Python `float`): Y value

### Returns

`double` — Mouse Y coordinate

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var y = Chart.YValueToY(Symbol.Bid);
Print("Bid price is at Y: {0}", y);
```

Python:

```python
y = api.Chart.YValueToY(api.Symbol.Bid)
api.Print(f"Bid price is at Y: {y}")
```
