# ChartIcon.IconType

## IconType

Gets or sets the type of the icon.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI works differently · Cloud works differently.

- CLI: Created and kept with all its properties, but never drawn: the CLI displays no chart.
- Cloud: Created and kept with all its properties, but never drawn: the cloud displays no chart.

C#:

```csharp
ChartIconType IconType {get; set;}
```

Python:

```python
chartIcon.IconType: ChartIconType
```

var icon = Chart.DrawIcon("signal", ChartIconType.UpArrow, Bars.OpenTimes.LastValue, Bars.LowPrices.LastValue, Color.Green);
