# ChartObjectType (enum)

The chart object types.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI supported · Cloud supported.

## Definition

```csharp
public enum ChartObjectType
```

## Examples

C#:

```csharp
var trendLines = Chart.FindAllObjects(ChartObjectType.TrendLine);
Print("Trend lines on the chart: {0}", trendLines.Length);
foreach (var chartObject in Chart.Objects)
    Print("{0} is a {1}", chartObject.Name, chartObject.ObjectType);
```

Python:

```python
trendLines = api.Chart.FindAllObjects(ChartObjectType.TrendLine)
api.Print(f"Trend lines on the chart: {trendLines.Length}")
for chartObject in api.Chart.Objects:
    api.Print(f"{chartObject.Name} is a {chartObject.ObjectType}")
```

## Values

- `ChartObjectType.HorizontalLine` — The horizontal line. The line parallel to the X-axis that can be set on any Y-axis value.
- `ChartObjectType.VerticalLine` — The vertical line. The line parallel to the Y-axis that can be set on any X-axis value. used to mark certain time event or chart bar on the chart.TBD
- `ChartObjectType.TrendLine` — The trend line. The line with the start and end points that can be drawn in any direction on the chart.
- `ChartObjectType.Text` — The text that can be placed directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises.
- `ChartObjectType.StaticText` — The static positioned text that can be placed on fixed locations in the chart
- `ChartObjectType.Icon` — The icon. The collection of icons that can be placed directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises.
- `ChartObjectType.FibonacciRetracement` — The Fibonacci Retracement that can be placed directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises. - a charting technique that uses the Fibonacci ratios to indicate the areas of support or resistance.
- `ChartObjectType.FibonacciExpansion` — The Fibonacci Expansion that can be placed directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises. - a charting technique used to plot possible levels of support and resistance by tracking not only the primary trend but also the retracement.
- `ChartObjectType.FibonacciFan` — The Fibonacci Fan that can be placed directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises. a charting technique used to estimate support and resistance levels by drawing the new trend lines based on the Fibonacci Retracement levels.
- `ChartObjectType.AndrewsPitchfork` — The Andrews Pitchfork that can be placed directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises.
- `ChartObjectType.GannFan` — The Gann Fan that can be placed directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises. A charting technique used to estimate support and resistance levels by drawing trend lines at different Gann angles (1x1, 2x1, 1x2, etc.).
- `ChartObjectType.GannBox` — The Gann Box that can be placed directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises. A charting technique that combines Gann angles with horizontal and vertical lines to create a box structure for analyzing support and resistance levels.
- `ChartObjectType.GannSquare` — The Gann Square that can be placed directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises. A charting technique that combines Gann box grid, fan rays from the start point, and arcs at level intersections for comprehensive market geometry analysis.
- `ChartObjectType.GannSquareFixed` — The Gann Square Fixed that can be placed directly in the chart with fixed screen-space size. A charting technique with a single anchor point and control point that renders a 5x5 grid, Gann fan rays, and circular arcs independent of zoom level.
- `ChartObjectType.Rectangle` — The rectangle of any preferable size and rotation that can be drawn directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises.
- `ChartObjectType.Ellipse` — The ellipse of any preferable size and rotation that can be drawn directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises.
- `ChartObjectType.Triangle` — The triangle of any preferable size and rotation that can be drawn directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises.
- `ChartObjectType.EquidistantChannel` — The equidistant channel that can be placed directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises.
- `ChartObjectType.Drawing` — The user drawings in the chart with Pencil
- `ChartObjectType.ArrowLine` — The arrow line.
- `ChartObjectType.FibonacciTimezones` — The Fibonacci Timezones
- `ChartObjectType.RiskReward` — The Risk Reward
- `ChartObjectType.FibonacciArc` — The Fibonacci Arc that can be placed directly in the chart, bound to X-Y axises. A charting technique using concentric arcs drawn at the Fibonacci levels off two anchor points to estimate support and resistance zones in both price and time.
- `ChartObjectType.ElliottImpulse` — The Elliott Impulse Wave (1-2-3-4-5). A five-wave motive pattern drawn as a labelled polyline over six pivots.
- `ChartObjectType.ElliottCorrection` — The Elliott Correction Wave (A-B-C). A three-wave corrective pattern drawn as a labelled polyline over four pivots.
- `ChartObjectType.ElliottTriangle` — The Elliott Triangle Wave (A-B-C-D-E). A five-leg triangle drawn as a labelled polyline over six pivots.
- `ChartObjectType.ElliottDoubleCombo` — The Elliott Double Combo Wave (W-X-Y). A complex correction drawn as a labelled polyline over four pivots.
- `ChartObjectType.ElliottTripleCombo` — The Elliott Triple Combo Wave (W-X-Y-X-Z). An extended complex correction drawn as a labelled polyline over six pivots.
