# ChartStaticText.IsItalic

## IsItalic

Gets or sets if the text is Italic or not

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI works differently · Cloud works differently.

- CLI: Created and kept with all its properties, but never drawn: the CLI displays no chart.
- Cloud: Created and kept with all its properties, but never drawn: the cloud displays no chart.

C#:

```csharp
bool IsItalic {get; set;}
```

Python:

```python
chartStaticText.IsItalic: bool
```

### Returns

`bool` — 

Available since cAlgo.API 5.2.

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var text = Chart.DrawStaticText("info", SymbolName, VerticalAlignment.Top, HorizontalAlignment.Right, Color.White);
text.IsItalic = true;
Print("Static text is italic: {0}", text.IsItalic);
```

Python:

```python
text = api.Chart.DrawStaticText("info", api.SymbolName, VerticalAlignment.Top, HorizontalAlignment.Right, Color.White)
text.IsItalic = True
