# ChartTemplateIndicator.Type

## Type

Gets the `IndicatorType` of an indicator.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI supported · Cloud not supported.

- Cloud: Never available in the cloud: it is only returned by members that do not work there (ChartTemplateIndicators, ChartTemplateIndicators.Add, ChartTemplateIndicators.Get).

C#:

```csharp
IndicatorType Type {get;}
```

Python:

```python
chartTemplateIndicator.Type: IndicatorType
```

### Returns

`IndicatorType` — 

Available since cAlgo.API 5.6.

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var template = ChartTemplates.Get("My Template");
if (template != null)
{
    foreach (var indicator in template.Indicators)
        Print("Indicator type: {0} | Kind: {1}", indicator.Type.Name, indicator.Type.AlgoKind);
}
```

Python:

```python
template = api.ChartTemplates.Get("My Template")
if template is not None:
    for indicator in template.Indicators:
