# TimeSeries.Item

## Item

Returns the DateTime value at the specified index.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI supported · Cloud supported.

C#:

```csharp
DateTime Item {get;}
```

Python:

```python
timeSeries[index: int] -> DateTime
```

### Parameters

- `index` (`int`, Python `int`): The index of the returned value within the series.

### Returns

`DateTime` — 

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var firstBarTime = Bars.OpenTimes[0];
Print("The first loaded bar opened at {0}", firstBarTime);
```

Python:

```python
firstBarTime = api.Bars.OpenTimes[0]
api.Print(f"The first loaded bar opened at {firstBarTime}")
```
