# Point constructor

## Point(double x, double y)

Initializes a new instance of the [`Point`](https://help.ctrader.com/ctrader-algo/references/Controls/Layout/Shapes/Point/index.md) class.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI supported · Cloud supported.

C#:

```csharp
public Point(double x, double y)
```

Python:

```python
Point(x: float, y: float)
```

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var point = new Point(100, 50);
var polyline = new Polyline { StrokeColor = Color.Orange, Points = new[] { new Point(0, 0), point } };

```

Python:

```python
point = Point(100, 50)
polyline = Polyline()
polyline.StrokeColor = Color.Orange
