# Algo.IsBacktesting

## IsBacktesting

True if a cBot is in the Backtesting mode, otherwise False.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI supported · Cloud supported.

C#:

```csharp
public bool IsBacktesting {get;}
```

Python:

```python
api.IsBacktesting: bool
```

`bool` —

if (IsBacktesting)
