# INotifications.ShowPopup

## ShowPopup(string caption, string message, PopupNotificationState initialState)

Shows a popup notification.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI not supported · Cloud not supported.

- CLI: No popup is shown. Returns a PopupNotification whose State is the initial state passed in.
- Cloud: No popup is shown. Returns a PopupNotification whose State is the initial state passed in.

C#:

```csharp
PopupNotification ShowPopup(string caption, string message, PopupNotificationState initialState)
```

Python:

```python
api.Notifications.ShowPopup(caption: str, message: str, initialState: PopupNotificationState) -> PopupNotification
```

### Parameters

- `caption` (`string`, Python `str`): Caption or title.
- `message` (`string`, Python `str`): Message or description.
- `initialState` (`PopupNotificationState`, Python `PopupNotificationState`): Initial state of notification.

### Returns

`PopupNotification` — 

Available since cAlgo.API 5.3.
