# BacktestingProcess.Terminate

## Terminate()

Terminates the backtesting process.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI not supported · Cloud not supported.

- CLI: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the CLI.
- Cloud: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the cloud.

C#:

void Terminate()
```

Python:

```python
backtestingProcess.Terminate() -> None
```
