# MonteCarloSettings.OutputFilePath

## OutputFilePath

Gets the destination file path for the Monte Carlo result JSON. The file uses the same snapshot format the desktop Monte Carlo tab saves, so it can be loaded back by the desktop application.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI not supported · Cloud not supported.

- CLI: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the CLI.
- Cloud: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the cloud.

C#:

```csharp
public string OutputFilePath {get;}
```

Python:

```python
monteCarloSettings.OutputFilePath: str
```

### Returns

`string` — 

Available since cAlgo.API 5.10.

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var monteCarlo = new MonteCarloSettings(MonteCarloMethod.Reshuffle, @"C:\Temp\montecarlo-result.json");
Print("Monte Carlo result will be saved to {0}", monteCarlo.OutputFilePath);
```

Python:
