# ChartManager.ActiveChartContainer

## ActiveChartContainer

Returns current active chart container if any otherwise null.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI not supported · Cloud not supported.

- CLI: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the CLI.
- Cloud: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the cloud.

C#:

```csharp
ChartContainer ActiveChartContainer {get;}
```

Python:

```python
api.ChartManager.ActiveChartContainer: ChartContainer
```

### Returns

`ChartContainer` — 

Available since cAlgo.API 5.2.

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var chartContainer = ChartManager.ActiveChartContainer;
if (chartContainer != null)
    Print("Active container {0} has {1} frames", chartContainer.Id, chartContainer.Count);
```

Python:

```python
chartContainer = api.ChartManager.ActiveChartContainer
if chartContainer is not None:
    api.Print(f"Active container {chartContainer.Id} has {chartContainer.Count} frames")
```
