# CommandResult.Child

## Child

Gets the child control associated with the command result.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI not supported · Cloud not supported.

- CLI: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the CLI.
- Cloud: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the cloud.

C#:

```csharp
public ControlBase Child {get;}
```

Python:

```python
commandResult.Child: ControlBase
```

### Returns

`ControlBase` — 

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var commandResult = new CommandResult(new TextBlock { Text = "Done" });
if (commandResult.Child is TextBlock textBlock)
    Print("Result text: {0}", textBlock.Text);
```

Python:

```python
textBlock = TextBlock()
textBlock.Text = "Done"
commandResult = CommandResult(textBlock)
api.Print(f"Result content: {commandResult.Child}")
```
