# CustomSymbolFuturesSettings.MaintenanceMargin

## MaintenanceMargin

The amount of quote asset that will be taken as a margin per one traded lot.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI not supported · Cloud not supported.

- CLI: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the CLI.
- Cloud: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the cloud.

C#:

```csharp
public double? MaintenanceMargin {get;}
```

Python:

```python
customSymbolFuturesSettings.MaintenanceMargin: float | None
```

### Returns

`double?` — 

Available since cAlgo.API 5.3.

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var futuresSettings = new CustomSymbolFuturesSettings(new DateTime(2025, 12, 19, 20, 0, 0), new DateTime(2025, 12, 22), 500);
if (futuresSettings.MaintenanceMargin.HasValue)
