# CustomSymbols.Remove

## Remove(CustomSymbol customSymbol)

Removes a custom symbol.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI not supported · Cloud not supported.

- CLI: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the CLI.
- Cloud: Available to plugins only, and plugins cannot run in the cloud.

C#:

```csharp
bool Remove(CustomSymbol customSymbol)
```

Python:

```python
api.CustomSymbols.Remove(customSymbol: CustomSymbol) -> bool
```

### Parameters

- `customSymbol` (`CustomSymbol`, Python `CustomSymbol`): Custom symbol

### Returns

`bool` — True if remove was successful otherwise False.

Available since cAlgo.API 5.3.

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var customSymbol = CustomSymbols.Get("MYEURUSD");
if (customSymbol != null)
    Print("Custom symbol removed: {0}", CustomSymbols.Remove(customSymbol));
```

Python:

```python
customSymbol = api.CustomSymbols.Get("MYEURUSD")
if customSymbol is not None:
    api.Print(f"Custom symbol removed: {api.CustomSymbols.Remove(customSymbol)}")
```
