# PriceAlertQuoteType (enum)

Represents the price alert quote types.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI supported · Cloud supported.

## Examples

C#:

```csharp
var support = Bars.LowPrices.Minimum(50);
PriceAlerts.Add(Symbol, support, PriceAlertQuoteType.Ask, PriceAlertCondition.LowerOrEqual);
Print("Alert added when the ask price drops to {0}", support);
```

Python:

```python
support = Functions.Minimum(api.Bars.LowPrices, 50)
api.PriceAlerts.Add(api.Symbol, support, PriceAlertQuoteType.Ask, PriceAlertCondition.LowerOrEqual)

```

## Values

- `PriceAlertQuoteType.Bid` — Symbol Bid price will be used for price alert.
- `PriceAlertQuoteType.Ask` — Symbol Ask price will be used for price alert.
