# Deal.Channel

## Channel

Gets the channel.

Environments: Desktop supported · CLI works differently · Cloud works differently.

- CLI: Deals from the cBot's own orders carry channel 'cBot Console' instead of the desktop 'cBot cTrader'.
- Cloud: Deals from the cBot's own orders carry channel 'cBot Cloud' instead of the desktop 'cBot cTrader'.

C#:

```csharp
string Channel {get;}
```

Python:

```python
deal.Channel: str
```

### Returns

`string` — 

Available since cAlgo.API 5.1.

### Examples

C#:

```csharp
var trade = History.FindLast("myLabel");
if (trade != null)
    Print("Closing deal channel: {0}", trade.ClosingDeal.Channel);
```

Python:

```python
trade = api.History.FindLast("myLabel")
if trade is not None:
