Notifications

cTrader uses email messages and push notifications to inform traders about specific events and account-related activities.

To choose which events you want to be notified about, navigate to the 'Notifications' tab of the cTID website.

Since some categories and notification settings overlap between the 'Email' and 'Push' tabs, we are defining them below in a structured manner.

cTrader ID Account¶

• 'Successful login with cTrader ID credentials' - Enable to receive email notifications whenever your cTrader ID credentials are used to log in to any cTrader app.

Trading Accounts¶

• 'Funds deposited or withdrawn (trading account)' - Enable to receive email or push notifications on deposits or withdrawals.
• 'Insufficient funds for pending order' - Enable to receive email or push notifications when your account lacks the funds needed to fill an order.
• 'Margin call threshold 1 reached' - Enable to receive email or push notifications when margin threshold 1 is reached.
• 'Margin call threshold 2 reached' - Enable to receive email or push notifications when margin threshold 2 is reached.
• 'Margin call threshold 3 reached' - Enable to receive email or push notifications when margin threshold 3 is reached.
• 'Order filled: stop loss' - Enable to receive email or push notifications when a stop-loss order is filled.
• 'Order filled: take profit' - Enable to receive email or push notifications when a take-profit order is filled.
• 'Pending order filled' - Enable to receive email or push notifications when a pending order is filled.
• 'Price Alert' - Enable to receive email or push notifications for price alerts.
• 'Referral Linked' - Enable to receive email or push notifications when a referral is linked to your account.
• 'Stop Out' - Enable to receive email or push notifications when a stop out level is filled.

cTrader Copy: Strategy Provider¶

• 'Copy-trading commission received' - Enable to receive email notifications when commissions are paid to your account.
• 'Copying started' - Enable to receive email notifications when your account enables or starts allowing copy.
• 'Copying stopped' - Enable to receive email notifications when your account disables or stops allowing copy.
• 'Strategy deleted due to inactivity' - Enable to receive email or push notifications when your copy strategy is deleted due to inactivity.
• 'Upcoming strategy deletion due to inactivity' - Enable to receive email or push notifications when your copy strategy will soon be deleted due to inactivity.

cTrader Copy: Investor¶

• 'Copy-trading Commissions Realised' - Enable to receive email notifications when commissions are realised.
• 'Equity stop loss triggered' - Enable to receive email notifications when the equity stop loss for a strategy is triggered.
• 'Funds deposited or removed (strategy)' - Enable to receive email notifications when funds are deposited or removed from your copy-trading account.
• 'Stop out' - Enable to receive email notifications when the stop out level for your copy-trading account is reached.
• 'Strategy deleted by provider' - Enable to receive email notifications when a strategy you are copying is deleted by its provider.
• 'Strategy resumed by provider' - Enable to receive email notifications when a strategy you are copying is resumed by its provider after a pause.
• 'Strategy stopped by provider' - Enable to receive email notifications when a strategy you are copying is stopped by its provider.
