Profile

In the Profile tab of the cTID website, you can edit your personal information and contacts shown on the profile page and adjust your visibility settings.

Note

The profile page of a cTrader user can be accessed:

Via a link https://ctrader.com/u/username/, where username is a real cTrader username, by all traders.
In the Partner tab of cTrader Invite, by invited traders whose partner has decided to make their profile visible.
On the algorithm author page in cTrader Algo.
On the algorithm seller page in cTrader Store.

Edit profile details¶

You can edit the following profile details and settings in the top panel.

Cover image¶

Click the icon in the top-right corner of the cover image, select Upload new image and upload your preferred profile cover.

Profile picture¶

Click the icon on your round profile picture and choose Upload new image. Select a new profile picture and upload it.

Username¶

Click the edit icon to the right of your username, input a new username and then click Save.

Preview¶

Click Check how your profile appears to users to preview your profile page.

Visibility¶

Manage your profile visibility with the Make your profile public toggle.

Warning

If you disable Make your profile public, all other traders, including your invited traders, will be unable to access your profile page.

Edit personal information¶

In the next section, you can add and edit your personal information.

Tip

Share your contact details so invited traders can always reach you. By staying in touch with your referral base, you will support their trading and further enhance your conversion rate.

About - enter information about yourself.

Note

The character limit for this text field is 1,024.

Phone - enter your phone number.
Instagram - enter your Instagram username or profile link.
WhatsApp - enter your phone number for WhatsApp or profile link.
X platform - enter your handle, username or profile link on X (formerly Twitter).
Telegram - enter your phone number for Telegram, username or profile link.
YouTube - enter your YouTube channel name, username or account link.
Facebook - enter your Facebook username or profile link.

Click Save to confirm the changes.

Adjust profile information visibility¶

Here, you can control the visibility of information on your profile page.

Contact information - enable if you want your profile page visitors to see your contact details.
Trading stats - enable if you want your profile page visitors to see your trading statistics.
Section about - enable if you want your profile page visitors to see the About section.

Any changes you make here are applied immediately.

Adjust products visibility¶

Here, you can choose which products to display to other traders, including your invited traders, on your profile page.

Tip

Partners use their profile page with appealing cTrader products as a ready-to-go landing page. Once traders click on your products, they are attributed to you within cTrader and can later convert into referrals in the broker's system.

Your copy strategies - enable if you want your profile page visitors to see the copy strategies you are providing.
Favourite copy strategies - enable if you want your profile page visitors to see the copy strategies you have marked as favourites.
Your public algorithms - enable if you want your profile page visitors to see the cTrader algorithms you are sharing via Invite.

Any changes you make here are applied immediately.
