Hotkeys¶

cTrader Mac supports hotkeys to help you work faster in the app. You can find the full list of cTrader Mac hotkeys in the Hotkeys section of the Settings window, opened with Cmd+,. To reassign a default hotkey, click the hotkey field and press a new key or key combination.

Global¶

• F1 – Help Centre
• F2 – Switch chart mode
• F3 – Switch layout
• F7 – Previous workspace
• F8 – Next workspace
• F9 – New order window
• Cmd+F11 – Toggle full screen
• Cmd+Shift+M – Show/hide the main menu
• Cmd+Shift+W – Show/hide the Trade Watch panel
• Ctrl+Tab – Switch to the next chart
• Shift+Ctrl+Tab – Switch to the previous chart
• Cmd+F – Search in all symbols
• Cmd+N – Open a new chart
• Cmd+Shift+N – Open a new detached chart
• Cmd+0 – Reset font size

Chart¶

• Left – Scroll left
• Right – Scroll right
• Page Up – Fast scrolling to the left
• Page Down – Fast scrolling to the right
• Home – Scroll to the beginning of the chart
• End – Scroll to the end of the chart
• + – Zoom in
• - – Zoom out
• Up – Switch to the next period from favourites
• Down – Switch to the previous period from favourites
• Cmd+A – Select all drawings
• Cmd+C – Copy selected drawings
• Cmd+V – Paste drawings

Mouse hotkeys¶

• Mouse wheel – Zoom or scroll
• Cmd + Mouse wheel – Scroll left/right or zoom in/out
• Middle mouse button – Enable/disable crosshair
• Shift + Middle mouse button – Enable/disable synchronised crosshair
• Cmd + Click on drawing – Add/remove drawing to/from selection
• Cmd + Drag – Duplicate drawing
• Option + Drag – Move drawing with disabled magnet
• Shift + Line – Draw a line at an angle multiple of 45
• Shift + Rectangle – Draw square
• Shift + Ellipse – Draw circle
• Cmd + Draw – Hold Cmd to continue drawing
