History¶

The History tab in Positions lists deals, including failed fill attempts. To see the deals on one symbol only, open its symbol overview and switch to the History tab there.

Each row shows:

• Symbol – the traded symbol.
• Side – the trade direction, buy or sell.
• Size – how much the deal traded, in lots or units.
• P&L – the net profit or loss, in the account currency.

The Realised P&L at the bottom is the total for the listed deals.

Deal information¶

Tap a deal to view its details. The deal ID appears at the top.

Summary and chart¶

The summary shows the symbol, symbol description and the following values:

• Net P&L – the net profit or loss, in the account currency.
• Pips – the profit or loss in pips.
• Duration – the time between opening and closing.
• Fees – the total swaps and commissions, in the account currency.
• Direction – the trade direction, buy or sell.
• Quantity/Volume – the deal size, in lots or units.

Tap to share the deal. cTrader creates a card with a QR code that opens the deal details in the app.

The chart shows the entry and exit prices.

Symbol, Volume and Price¶

The Symbol section shows:

• Symbol – the traded symbol.
• Symbol description – the full symbol name.
• Opening direction – the opening deal direction, buy or sell.
• Closing direction – the closing deal direction, buy or sell.

The Volume section shows:

• Filled quantity/Filled volume – the size filled by the deal.
• Opening quantity/Opening volume – the size opened by the deal.
• Closing volume (USD) – the USD equivalent of the size closed by the deal.
• Requested quantity/Requested volume – the size requested by the order.
• Filled volume (USD) – the USD equivalent of the filled size.
• Bought – the amount bought.
• Sold – the amount sold.

The Price section shows:

• Entry price – the volume-weighted average price (VWAP) of the opening deals, with ask and bid prices.
• Opening price – the price the deal opened at.
• Closing price – the closing execution price, with bid and ask prices.
• Current price – the current bid and ask prices.

Info and Time¶

The Info section shows:

• Deal ID – the unique deal identifier.
• Status – the deal status:
  • Filled – filled completely.
  • Partially filled – filled in part.
  • Rejected – rejected by the liquidity provider.
  • Error – an error occurred during the fill attempt.
  • Missed – the liquidity provider did not respond in time.
  • Internally rejected – rejected by the broker.
• Closed by – the ID of the deal that closed this deal.
• Closing – the ID of the deal closed by this deal.
• Requesting order – the ID of the order that created the deal.
• Affected position – the ID of the position affected by the deal.
• Position impact – the effect on the position:
  • Opening – opened a position or increased its size.
  • Closing – fully or partially closed a position.
• Channel – the platform the order was placed from.
• Label – the deal label, if set.
• Comment – the comment sent with the order, if set.

The Time section shows:

• Matching time – when a liquidity provider matched the deal.
• Opening time – when the first opening deal was executed.
• Execution time (ms) – the time from matching to closing.
• Closing time – when the deal was closed.

Realised P&L and fees¶

The Realised P&L and fees section shows amounts in the account currency and their USD equivalents:

• Swaps – the swaps paid or earned.
• Broker commission – the commission charged by your broker.
• Partner commission – the introducing broker commission.
• Copying commission – the commission charged by a strategy provider in cTrader Copy.
• Conversion fee – the currency conversion fee.
• Gross – the profit or loss before swaps and commissions.
• Net – the profit or loss after swaps and commissions.

Filter and sort¶

Tap in the top bar to open History filter. A dot on the icon marks a filter in force, and Reset filters at the foot clears them all.

• Period – how far back the list reaches: Today, Yesterday, Current week, Current month, etc.
• Sort results by – the field the list is ordered on: Closing time, Opening time, Symbol, Direction, Size or Net P&L.
• Type – whether that order runs Ascending or Descending.
