How can I start buying products in cTrader Store?
Log in to cTrader Store with your cTrader ID credentials to purchase algorithms or download free products.
Is it safe to make payments in cTrader Store?
Yes. All Store sellers undergo KYC via Sumsub with ongoing monitoring. Secure payments in cTrader Store are powered by Nuvei, and a 14-day money-back period applies to all paid products.
How can I pay for products?
You can pay for products using a debit or credit card from Visa, MasterCard and other popular providers. Note that the country of your payment card issuer must match the one selected in your account in cTrader Store.
Can I use a debit or credit card that is not in my name?
As a buyer, you can use any valid debit or credit card to purchase a product. Make sure you have sufficient funds to execute the transaction successfully.
Who can use a product purchased in cTrader Store?
A product can be accessed only by the user who purchased or obtained it for free in cTrader Store. Users with a different cTrader ID will not be able to open it in cTrader.
What happens after I install a product?
The product is installed on your cTrader account and can be instantly accessed across cTrader apps. Cloud synchronisation must be enabled in cTrader Windows and Mac to access the product in desktop apps.
How are Store products compatible with cTrader apps?
You can start cBots in Cloud from any cTrader app, while local execution is only available in desktop apps. Custom indicators and plugins work in cTrader Windows and Mac. WebView plugins are supported across all cTrader apps.
How can I download the algo file of my purchased product?
Simply go to your Purchases, click the More icon and then download the algo file.
Can I access the source code of my purchased product?
No. Even if you open the algo file in cTrader Windows or Mac, the source code is not available, as it is protected by cTrader Store to safeguard authors' copyright.
Are free product trials available in Store?
Yes. Some sellers provide free trials of paid products, but they may include feature limitations, restricted usage periods or other conditions.
Are new product versions available for free?
Yes. Once you purchase a paid product, all future versions provided by the seller are available at no additional cost. You can install any version and switch between versions as you see fit.
Where can I check my bonuses?
Store bonuses, if available, are displayed in the top section of Finances.
How do I spend my bonuses?
You can use Store bonuses to cover up to 30% of any product's price. Bonuses are applied automatically during checkout, reducing the final price as shown in the checkout window.
Can I report a suspicious product?
Yes, both buyers and sellers can report a product that does not comply with the cTrader Store publishing rules.
For sellers¶
How can I start selling products in cTrader Store?
To publish paid products, you first need to verify your account. Note that publishing free products in cTrader Store does not require account verification.
What documents should I provide for verification?
Provide a valid proof of identity (e.g., ID card, passport, residence permit or driver's license) and perform a liveness check.

Can I provide a free trial version for buyers?
Yes, you can provide a free trial version with certain limitations when publishing a new product or add a trial to an existing product. cTrader Store also allows sellers to update trial versions.
Can I update product versions in Store?
Yes, you can upload new product versions to deliver updates, enhancements and new features. All new versions are available to your existing buyers at no additional cost.
Why is my product banned?
First, ensure that your product complies with the cTrader Store publishing rules. If you have any further questions, you can reach us via the support chat in cTrader Store or by email.
Does cTrader charge any fees from sellers?
cTrader charges a 30% commission on all paid products sold through cTrader Store. As a seller, you are also responsible for paying taxes in accordance with the laws of your country of residence.
How can I withdraw my available balance?
You can request a withdrawal in the Finances section of your cTrader Store account.
What are the available withdrawal methods?
The available withdrawal methods include debit or credit cards from Visa and Mastercard.
How much can I withdraw?
The minimum withdrawal amount is $50. You can withdraw up to your available balance, which includes only funds that are at least 14 days old, in line with the refund policy.
Is my payout card credited immediately?
Withdrawal requests are processed once per week. You will be notified once the funds have been transferred to your payout card.
Can I withdraw funds to a card that is not in my name?
To ensure financial security, withdrawals can only be made to card accounts registered in your own name.
Can I upload an algorithm with full access rights?
cTrader Store does not allow products with full access rights to be published, as we prioritise the safety of our buyers.
How does cTrader protect my intellectual property?
Your .algo file is generated locally in cTrader Windows or Mac, and source code is never uploaded to cTrader Store or Cloud. Learn more about algo protection measures in cTrader.
How does cTrader Store secure my product?
Each .algo file is encrypted and distributed as a unique copy bound to the buyer’s cTrader ID. cBots run locally inside cTrader or in Cloud, never in a readable or accessible form. Learn more about algo protection measures in cTrader.
Why was my product removed due to its description?
Products may be removed if their descriptions are incomplete, unclear or misleading. Ensure your description accurately reflects the product’s features and functionality.
Can my product be removed if it is broken or outdated?
Yes. Products that are non-functional, contain major bugs or have not been updated for an extended period may be removed from cTrader Store.
What naming rules apply to my product?
Product names must comply with the publishing rules and avoid trademark conflicts, misleading terms or names that could cause confusion.
What happens if I violate a licence agreement?
Products that infringe on copyrights, trademarks or other licensing agreements will be removed, and your account may be suspended.
Can repeated user complaints lead to my product being removed?
Yes. Products receiving repeated legitimate complaints may be removed after investigation by moderators.
Can my product be banned for violating the Terms of Use?
Yes. Violations of the Terms of Use may result in product removal or account suspension.
