Use a product

After you buy a product or select a free one in cTrader Store, you can start using it immediately in cTrader.

Warning

A product is installed on the cTrader ID account you are currently logged into in cTrader Store.
Users with a different cTID cannot open and start the product in cTrader.

cBots

cBots can be started in Cloud from any cTrader app or launched locally from desktop apps.

1. Tap Install to install the cBot on your cTrader account.

2. Tap Open to open the cBot in cTrader Mobile.

3. Tap Start cBot, manage instance parameters and start the cBot in Cloud.

Note

When cloud synchronisation is enabled, your installed cBot becomes available in desktop cTrader apps automatically.
If cloud synchronisation is disabled, double-click the algo file to open the cBot in cTrader Windows or Mac.

2. Open cTrader Windows or Mac and add an instance to the cBot.

3. Start the cBot in Cloud or locally.

Indicators

Custom indicators from Store can only be used in cTrader Windows and Mac.

1. Click Install to install the indicator on your cTrader account.

Note

When cloud synchronisation is enabled, your installed indicator becomes available in desktop cTrader apps automatically.
If cloud synchronisation is disabled, double-click the algo file to open the indicator in cTrader Windows or Mac.

If you do not have cTrader installed on your desktop, click Get cTrader to install it.

2. Open cTrader Windows or Mac and add an instance to the indicator.

3. Use the indicator for technical analysis.

Multi-platform plugins

Multi-platform plugins from Store can be used in any cTrader app.

1. Tap Install to install the multi-platform plugin on your cTrader account.

2. Tap Open to open the multi-platform plugin in cTrader Mobile.

3. Use the multi-platform plugin features.

Alternatively, you can add a multi-platform plugin by accessing Store from within your cTrader Mobile app.

1. Click Install to install the multi-platform plugin on your cTrader account.

2. Click Open to open the multi-platform plugin in cTrader Web.

Desktop plugins

Desktop plugins from Store can only be used in cTrader Windows and Mac.

1. Click Install to install the desktop plugin on your cTrader account.

When cloud synchronisation is enabled, your installed plugin becomes available in desktop cTrader apps automatically.
If cloud synchronisation is disabled, double-click the algo file to open the desktop plugin in cTrader Windows or Mac.

If you do not have cTrader installed on your desktop, click Get cTrader to install it.

2. Open cTrader Windows or Mac and access the desktop plugin from the relevant UI area.

Copy

Strategies can be copied and managed directly in Store, with the same functionality available across all cTrader apps.

1. Choose a strategy and tap Start copying.

2. Select a trading account, add funds and check the stategy conditions.

3. Tap Start copying.

Product files

To download algo files for cBots, indicators and plugins you have obtained, go to your Purchases, click the More icon and then select Download.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues when installing and using products, try the following:

  • Restart your device.
  • Re-log in to cTrader.
  • Check your account permissions in Settings.
