Yes. As long as you have the correct cTID credentials, you can log in to the platform from another device that meets the system and internet connection requirements at the same time.

When does my cTrader demo account expire?

Each broker has different expiry settings for demo accounts. It can be either 15, 30, 45 or 90 days after the last log out.

Each trader should contact their broker for more information regarding the expiry conditions.

Yes, the time offset can be changed from the bottom right corner of cTrader.

Where do price quotes come from?

Each broker has liquidity providers (Barclays, UBS, Reuters and others) who provide the live quotes.

How does cTrader calculate margin when positions are hedged (the symbol is both bought and sold)?

For hedged positions, cTrader calculates margin based on the trade direction with the highest volume and margin required.

If, for a particular symbol, the total margin required for sell positions exceeds the total margin required for buy positions, cTrader will calculate margin only for the total sell volume.

Where can I view my trading history?

The trading history can be seen by selecting the History tab in Trade Watch at the bottom of cTrader. You can also save it on your device by clicking the Statement button in the upper right of the History tab.

What happens to my open positions when I log out of cTrader?

The current open positions will not be closed until an existing stop-loss, take-profit or stop-out level is reached. Existing limit orders will still be filled if the entry price is met.

What is cTID and why do I need it? Is having a trading account not enough?

cTrader ID (cTID) is a single profile that allows you to sign in with unified credentials to any broker's version of cTrader and switch between your trading accounts with one click, without the need to enter the account number and password combinations each time.

You only need to log in once with your email and password or your Google account, and all your trading accounts are available from your cTrader ID.

Logging in with your cTID is the only way to access cTrader.

Please find detailed information on cTID here.

How do I link or unlink a trading account with my cTID?

You cannot link or unlink a trading account with your cTID by yourself, and you cannot delete either your trading account or your cTID.

Therefore, if you need to link or unlink a trading account with the desired cTID, you should contact your broker.

Where can I find my overall profit or loss on a position?

You can track all your trading statistics, including overall profit or loss, from the History tab of the Trade Watch panel.

You can also use the Analyze application for various statistics, which provides in-depth analysis of your performance for each trading account from the main menu.

Cannot download application (Cannot continue message)

Sometimes, when you start downloading your cTrader Windows application, you may see the following message:

"Cannot continue. The application is improperly formatted. Contact the application vendor for assistance."

This occurs because some countries block cTrader downloads. To solve this problem, use a VPN connection. This is the only known way to proceed with the download.
