cTrader Copy¶
cTrader Copy – a social trading app within cTrader that enables investors to copy cross-broker strategies from experienced traders and share their own strategies for others to copy.
Strategy – all trading actions, manual or automated, executed by a strategy provider within their trading account.
Strategy provider – an individual or entity that offers a trading strategy in cTrader Copy for other traders to copy.
Investor – a cTrader user who allocates funds and copies a strategy under specified conditions.
Copy-trading account – a dedicated sub-account created for an investor to copy each strategy separately, allowing equity to be calculated based on the funds allocated for copying from the main account.
Strategy fees – fees that a strategy provider may charge investors who copy their strategy. These can include performance, management and volume fees.
Equity-to-equity ratio – the copying model used by cTrader Copy that determines trade volume based on the proportional relationship between the strategy provider’s equity and the investor’s equity.
