Plugins in cTrader¶

Plugins extend cTrader with new tools and customise the user interface.

Plugins are available for all cTrader apps, integrating third-party services as web-based or native desktop extensions.

How plugins work¶

Some plugins work and display content in supported UI areas across all apps, including cTrader Mobile, Web, Windows and Mac. Others are limited to placements in desktop apps only, such as cTrader Windows and Mac.

This table below shows plugin availability in each cTrader app:

Depending on its design, a plugin may appear in the following UI areas:

• Collapsible plugin bar in the Trade app
• Bottom sheet revealed by tapping the plugin in the plugin bar
• Overview tab of any symbol

Depending on its design, a plugin may appear in the following UI areas:

• Active Symbol Panel (ASP)
• Trade Watch (TW)
• New separate, resizable window

After adding a plugin to your cTID, it becomes automatically available in all supported cTrader apps. Plugins are managed per application, while deleting a plugin removes it from all apps.
