Manage WebView plugins

In cTrader, you can manage all WV plugins associated with your cTrader ID (cTID).

  1. Open the cTrader main menu, then select Manage plugins.

  2. Tap the Settings icon beside a plugin to open its settings screen.

    Tapping the Delete icon here removes a plugin.

Alternatively, you can access the settings screen for a plugin by doing any of these:

  • Long-press the plugin in the WV plugin panel.

  • Open the plugin bottom sheet, tap the More icon and select Settings.

  • In the Overview tab of any symbol, tap the More icon of the WV plugin, then select Settings.

Click the Plugins icon in the main menu to open the settings window. The number on the icon shows how many plugins are currently enabled, including WebView and desktop plugins.

Click Settings in main menu, then navigate to WebView plugins.

Enable/disable

In the plugin settings screen, toggle to enable or disable the WV plugin.

Warning

A disabled WV plugin is not displayed anywhere in the Trade app. You can enable the plugin again only in the Manage plugins screen accessed from the main menu.

In the Plugins section of the cTrader settings, use the toggle to enable or disable a WV plugin. To delete a plugin, click the Delete icon and confirm the action.

Use the Installed plugins toggle to enable or disable all plugins at once.

In the WebView plugins section of the cTrader settings, use the toggle to enable or disable a WV plugin. To delete a plugin, click the Delete icon and confirm the action.

View plugin information

In cTrader Mobile, tap Info on the plugin settings screen to view the plugin creator and additional details.

Reorder plugins

In cTrader Mobile, tap Reorder on the plugin settings screen, then drag the control up or down to set a new position for the WV plugin.

Note

The specified order is used in all mobile UI areas where your WV plugins are displayed.

Specify placement

In cTrader Mobile, select the interface areas where you want the WV plugin to be displayed.

  • Trade tabs - display the plugin in the WV plugin panel in all tabs of the Trade app, while the plugin content opens in a bottom sheet in the Trade app.

  • Symbol overview - display the plugin in the WV plugin panel in the Overview tab of all symbols, while the plugin content opens in a bottom sheet in Overview tabs.

  • Symbol overview (embed) - display the expanded plugin view in the Overview tab of all symbols.

Click the WebView plugins icon in the chart toolbar to open a new dialog for controlling plugin placements.

Expand the menu for your WebView plugin and tick where it should appear.

  • Block in Active Symbol Panel - display the WV plugin in a new block in ASP.

  • Tab in Active Symbol Panel - display the WV plugin in a new tab in ASP.

  • Tab in Trade Watch - display the WV plugin in a new tab in TW.

  • Separate window - display the WV plugin in a new separate window, which can be moved and adjusted.

Changes take effect instantly.

Click the WebView plugins icon in the chart toolbar.

Expand the menu for a WebView plugin, then tick the UI areas where you want the plugin to be visible.

  • Tab in Active Symbol Panel - display the WV plugin in a new tab in ASP.

  • Tab in Trade Watch - display the WV plugin in a new tab in TW.

  • Separate window - display the WV plugin in a new separate window, which can be moved and adjusted.

Changes take effect instantly.

The visibility of WV plugins can be controlled in the settings window, or you can click the WebView plugins icon in the chart toolbar to open a dedicated dialog.

Tick the UI areas where you want the plugin to be visible.
